Many builders and their representatives will tell you that you don't need and advocate on your side. However, time and again, buyers discover that no matter how nice the Builders Representative is, they are employed by the builder and the builder looks out for its own interest first. As long as things go smoothly (spoiler alert they rarely do) you will have no problems. However, an experienced agent will be on your side the entire time.
